Mine is Slow, it goes - 99% because I prefer live recordings over studio albums. It shows what a band is really capable of. I've played the heck out of lightdark too - so that is my favorite studio album to date. Having all of the releases, it is great to see the progress Giancarlo and the band have made over time. Each album is better than the last
In the world of albums, it is really unusual to find an album that is good through and through, never mind a series of albums! offhand I can't think of a track that I don't like. I can't wait for the GETBO album to see new listening treats there are!

Gahhhh - i don't know.... that's a tough Q, cos you're right most are great all the way through. I might not go with Slow, it Goes - just cos I think it's too short. Maybe it's still Sol 29 with ld taking a v close second. However - I think he aught to put out an album of all his d/l tracks cos sometimes those are my favourite Nosound things to listen to.

It's very difficult question. I have to choose between two my favorite albums of all time. Lightdark and A Sense Of Loss. Sol29 is great, but not as great as those two. I think Lightdark wins this time, because it reminds me of Faroe Islands, heaven in the earth. I've never been there, but when I close my eyes and listen to Lightdark album I feel the wind of northern seas. Most beautiful album I've ever heard, plus song with my favorite vocalist Tim Bowness. Will we ever hear something more beautiful than this album? Well I guess. Because Giancarllo is getting better and better with every album. Can't wait for Memories Of Machines. Could be the best album of 2011!

"Lightdark" for me too . As great as "A Sense of Loss" is, it lacks a bit in the guitar department for me and for that reason only, Sol29 edges it into 2nd place. 3 brilliant studio albums though

I agree. Sol29 is second for me, I absolutely love GE's guitar playing . I do like A Sense of Loss however I always skip the first and last tracks, almost always. Also very (thats very times 10) excitied about Memories of Machines!
