Nosound have announced that the long awaited reissue of their 2005 debut album Sol29 will be available on Kscope from August 2nd 2010. The album has been out of print for almost two years, during which time it has become a collectible (and much requested!) piece. The album will be expanded to a 2disc set (CD + DVD) and will be packaged in a super jewel case with slipcase and feature new and revised artwork as well as the original photographic booklet.
The audio CD will feature completely new digitally restored and analogue mastered audio from the original 2005 album, plus three extra re-mastered tracks (clocking in at 78 minutes of music!).
The DVD features a brand new 10 minute video for Sol29, plus the original three ambient/experimental audio video tracks included on The World Is Outside DVD-R. As an extra for fans that missed the first release, the Kscope edition will also include all the original mixes of Sol29 as they were released on 2005 album version. This will be the final and official Sol29 release, collecting all the Nosound early studio material in one single release.
The band has already started work on their fourth studio album which will be released in 2011. Writing and recording sessions already started in UK, and will continue during the summer with the whole band recording in their brand new recording studio located on the hills around Rome.
Official website (and brand new Myspace) went in the meantime for some changes, using the new Nosound Soundcloud page to host all free audio streamings, and making all cleaner and tidier on the website and between the band's social pages you can reach from the top bar! Stay tuned for more news soon..Sol29 reissue coming very soon, Memories of Machines project with No-Man's Tim Bowness too, and new Nosound material is on the way too..
